Eugenia Dal Fovo is a free-lance conference interpreter and translator, who specializes in psychiatry and neuroscience. She works as healthcare and community interpreter in the area of Trieste. She has a long-standing experience also in subtitling and in English and German teaching, both at beginner and advanced level. Her Ph.D thesis won the CIUTI Ph.D. Award in 2015. Her research fields of expertise are Television Interpreting, Corpus-based Interpreting Studies and Dialogue Interpreting. Eugenia Dal Fovo is also currently teaching EN <> IT community and consecutive interpreting courses for BA and MA degree students as Adjunct Professor (University of Trieste and, formerly, University of Macerata).
